buttons

Who didn't run their hands through their grandma's button jar as a child? The feel of hundreds of them like plastic treasure in you fingers. I love watching my daughter do the same at the shop with the button pails. There are so many like minded button lovers out there that just adore the jewelery from our selected artists. "Buttons" necklaces and bracelets. Robyn Hambleton's Brooches using rare 20's 30's and 40's buckles and buttons. Or the shop label Sewcherry's button rings.
If you love buttons drop by for a visit. We're sure to have something to make you smile. Or just come is and run your hand through the shop button pail for old times sake.

We all know Misery*. Well the punk style goddess has now come out with a bath and body range that is well, "Cute as Hell".
And we have it in store now!

C.A.H. not only looks lovely but it smells amazing and is (of total shock to me) a really good quality product. It's scent is comprised of violet and quince which remind me of a lovely garden rose from Nana's garden with a hint fresh lime.
definitely a must for any girl's beauty case.

NewtownKids
$15 ea

When I first opened the shop, nearly 18 months ago (wow) I used to watch out my shop window all the kids in Newtown whom were just getting out of school running around being rascals, playing jokes, singing, yelling & just being kids. They're all shapes colours, creeds, religions. So I sketched a little something that day and made a few up and sold them all in that first day. And I have made them ever since. Come in and adopt one today...no paperwork required.

Juniper is very lucky to launch a lovely artist Heike Theis's work. Her label is 3poppies and everything she does is lovely and to finest quality. Heike's work includes soft toys called "Teti longlegs" and "artful cushion" which is like a sleeping girl really. Her hand silk screen pillows are made of handloomed cotton and are prints of her original drawings of the magical woods where the Teti longlegs live. She's working one her next installment which will be the forest and Teti's friends as I understand. Her hand coloured prints have nearly sold out and are just beautiful. I bought one myself for my sewing room as the image calms me and fills me with thoughts of my children when they were babies.
