For those out there who were interested in seeing my button rings here are a few. sorry the pictures were taken in a rush between helping customers and getting hugs from my toddler son who stopped by with Dad. people only ever seem to come in when I start a project...note to self, "look busy all the time".

This week was a bumper week for Juniper. We had great sales but more importantly I got to meet some great people. The shop once again has changed in layout. Something I like to do just to keep all of you locals interested. We have new products in store too. Amazing scarves by Beautycat, new pieces by Madame Fancy Pants, crochet flower brooches by Heather Barnes, wire brooches by Leenne, new cupcakes on canvas by Amy Hammond and"Destination" is an exhibition that started last weekend and is so beautifully sweet and intricate you need to bring a coffee and sit on the stores red otoman and just look at them. I am super excited about this Easter week coming up. sadly all the little handmade bunnies and soft toys I had made up for that week sold so it's off to the machine again to create more huggables. We also sold most of my sewcherry bags that were in store so it's back to grind stone for those too. Wish me luck.

Sublime Stitching is one of the most popular products we carry in the shop. These fun and fabulous themed embroidery patterns have people queing to view. Newtownians are very crafty people and social too! So I thought why not combine the two thus the Sublime Stitching night was born. We meet once a month (normally on the 2nd or 3rd Thursday of the month). Everyone brings a cushion and the item they would like to embroider. Cost is $10 per person and for that you get pattern of your choice, all the embriodery thread you need, coffee or tea and a sweet treat. The first class was a blast and the next is scheduled for Thursday April 20th at 8pm. if you'd like to attend simply call 04 389 4058 to book your place as they fill up fast. If you live in NZ and can't come but would like to buy a Sublime Stiching pattern, they are $8each. Visa and Mastercard excepted.

The window display of roses I did for valentine's day. the roses are "Splendid Renate" grown in Christchurch, NZ by Moffits. I then strung handwritted love notes on fine silver wire and strewn them over the roses.
hello
So here it is, the new shop. Juniper. We have been open just over a month and the response has been fantastic! Everyone who has visited the shop has been so warm and generous with their praise of all the hard work that went into the making of my little dream.
