Lovely Lucky Dip Craft Night! this months project was embellishing ceramic white plates with sayings that have personal meaning. Everyone did such an amazing job i was highly impressed with the finished projects. I did however underestimate the skill level of this group as they powered though the project in record time but due to last minute no shows we had enough extra plates for some of the ladies to do two! There's always a silver lining :)
If you'd like to have a go at this project stop by the shop sometime and I'll fill you in on the process and where you can buy the materials. But for a demo you have to come to a craft night for those. And we only have two more Lucky Dip nights of the year. October is fully booked but November is open. So book now.

Please check out my new "foodie"sister blog DELUSHUSNESS

It's a Sunday project i am doing with my daughter. It was her idea and she's brimming with ideas. She's so passionate about this and i am thrilled to have been asked to do it with her. Please visit us and become a follower and or leave a helpful comment. We would also love to know about any yummy new products or produce your family or flat have tried recently. Thanks so much! have a great week.
On Tuesday my flowers arrived from market lovely as always but there was, as there sometimes is, a few casualties of the journey. These little ranuncular heads were far too beautiful to throw away so i used them in a wee arrangement that you too can do at home with a few simple items.
The twig latice you will create for this will provide a stable prop for the heads to drink water. make sure your water level remains high. Check it every few days.

This ones for Dan Carter!

I mean the mighty All Blacks. But if Dan Carter wants to come by the shop to thank me I would gladly accept a hug from him :)

Hope all of you in NZ have a fabulous time watchin the world cup games and if not just enjoy the fun.

There is a little something i do at juniper, though small, it is special. I do this everyday and it starts my day off perfectly. I make my famous little $5 posies for all my lovely customers. Some of these go to people about to visit someone special but sometimes you can tell by the smirk on the customers face its just for them. And I think that is soooooo cool. Buying yourself a wee posy for the week is a great way to treat yourself. Think about it. Its fat free. It has no calories. It won't give you a head ache the next day. So there, next time you wanna do a little something for YOU, buy YOU a posy. I'll be there with my lil buckets to help you.

Congratulations to Grace Bonney of Design Sponge for the birth of her brand new Baby...book! Can't wait for it here. I will do all i can to get copies for the shop. Now off to do some hunting...but please watch the promo clip for the book. So lovely.
